ESC believes that good nutrition is essential for a child's healthy growth and development. For this reason the service provides nutritious, good quality food. We also want to provide a relaxed and enjoyable environment for children to eat their snacks. We encourage good eating habits and take into consideration the children's likes and dislikes as well as any cultural requirements and most importantly any food allergies a child may suffer. ​

Fresh drinking water is available at all times for children. We see snack times as social events so we have them seated so they can relax and talk about their day and experience a variety of foods. It is important to note at all times, safe and hygienic practice is followed as per the service hygiene policy. Our Educators attend regular professional development on nutrition and food safety practises to ensure relevant practises.
